Over 2 years have passed since the last game I published on Newgrounds. Sadmin Night is very likely to be my final Newgrounds game, as the projects I am now working on/plan to develop will not be suited for this platform (not counting collaborative projects). Despite that, I still think it is worth using Newgrounds as one of the many ways of communicating with those who are interested in my works. Hence, this blog post!
For those out of the loop, I recently released Sadmin Night VR, a virtual reality remake of Sadmin Night (duh) and my first step into the 3D game space. If you don't have a VR headset, then good news! This game requires NO HEADSET and can be played on flatscreen.
Sadmin Night VR was a very experimental game, and I learned a lot from it. VR is a fascinating space for game development and is something I want to continue exploring in the future! Despite having spent five months on it, this game was merely a side project. I have been working on something far more ambitious and exciting.
In the background, I have been working on my flagship Steam title, which is now nearing its second year of development. No formal announcements have been made yet, but the goal is to have a demo ready before 2026. For the longest time, I had been working on what I wanted the game to look, feel, and play like. I'm now in a position where I am comfortable with the game's design and can now focus on bringing the game to a completed state. Despite everything, still a long way to go before the game is ready for full release.
Hopefully, when the demo is reaching its final stages of completion, a Steam page will be up and ready for wishlisting! If you want to be up-to-date with whatever I am doing/working on, please check out my Bluesky page, where I often post screenshots and videos of my current projects! More information about this game will be released there.
That's all I wanted to say. I am still alive and still making games! Stay tuned.
